Cowboy Park Mattupetty, a funzone at Munnar

Mattupetty is a hill station in Munnar at an altitude of 1700 meters. Madupetty (Mattupetty) also known as Switzerland of Kerala, a small village nearby Munnar famous for storage concrete gravity dam, Kundala Lake and highly specialized dairy farm, the Indo-Swiss livestock project.

Cowboy Park of Mattupetty is all set to receive tourists across the globe. The new park is a joint venture of Kerala Hydel Tourism Centre (KHTC), a subsidiary of the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) and Fun Factory group.

The Cowboy Park is situated near to the boating center of Sun Moon Valley Park of Mattupetty which sprawls across 15 acres.

In Mattupetty you can enjoy the greenish valleys and feel the fabulous climate around. The main attraction of Mattupetty is the dam and the lake here.

How to reach Cowboy Park?

The cowboy park is just 10 kms from the Munnar town. There are plenty of State buses and private buses are available in this route.

Kerala Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) is having services from almost all major cities to Munnar.

For people coming by air, Cochin International Airport is the nearest one with 110 kms away by road.

The Madurai International Airport is 140 kilometres away from Munnar which can also be considered.

The nearest railway station from Cowboy Park is at Aluva, which is at a distance of 110 kilometres from Munnar.

The Ernakulam Railway Station is 130 kilometres away while the Madurai Railway Station is at a distance of 135 kilometres.
